However, it will cause the one other Ganado patrolling the far back part of this canyon to investigate the noise, so it may be more prudent to snipe him first as the two on the high platforms can’t move from their positions.Īs soon as the fight begins, start by tossing a Grenade into the pair to keep them down for a moment, and follow up with an Attachable Mine from your Bolt Thrower if you have a spare, as it’ll help keep them pinned down and pile on early damage while they are still paired up. Just make sure none of them start wriggling to sprout a plaga head, or you'll need to kill them before their plaga-variant can sound the alarm. Two more Ganado are positioned along the high walls of the canyon armed with molotovs, and can be easily sniped with a rifle and scope, and even the loud shots of your rifle won’t sound any alarms. One is quite close as you enter beyond a wooden wall, and you’ll want to crouch up behind him when he turns and stab him in the back. However, when you first arrive in this area, there will be only four Ganado on lookout, and if all of them die without spotting you (or survive an attack), no alarm will sound. If you’re still low on resources and health, this may not be the best approach, though you may be able to make more money by defeating them all, and the Brute will drop an Emerald when defeated. This will prompt many more Ganado to come out of every possible crevice to try and swarm you - including a Brute - and there’s limited places to outpace them here, especially when the Ganado here will try to grab Ashley as the Brute blocks your advance. If any Ganado sees you and is able to call out to the group, an alarm will sound. Not the quiet kind, mind you, but the kind where you remain out of sight from the Ganado here.
